Where it’s AT !
On the first of September 2022 at 12 noon CIAT launched the ‘Where it’s AT’ campaign to promote and showcase the discipline of Architectural Technology to all those looking or considering a career in AT, joining the profession or as a member or affiliate of CIAT and to raise further awareness with the public.
The launch campaign can be found via the following link https://architecturaltechnology.com/whereitsat
The institute will be showcasing a series of short and engaging films on different aspects of the profession under the ‘Where it’s AT’ campaign umbrella. These films inform audiences of the crucial role played by Chartered Architectural Technologists in the built environment sector, of a design discipline that is often misunderstood. The programme will demonstrate the breadth, value and excellence of the work of Chartered Architectural Technologists in various environments, and globally to its audience. It’s a celebration of Architectural Technology’s autonomy as a design discipline and parity to other Chartered professions. Highlighting this exciting, diverse, highly surprising and satisfying design discipline as a career path, and as an institute, hoping to encourage new members and affiliates to join. The first film uses a beat poem to introduce the audience to Cat, the main protagonist, who is heading off to begin her chosen career in Architectural Technology.

A new film will be launched each week on a different aspect of the profession, through a series of case study Chartered Architectural Technologists.
